ONIC and the PTA Order: What Actually Happened

Buying and Replacing an ONIC SIM

ONIC’s current purchase journey is a pickup model. Sign up in the app or website with an email, choose plan and number (SIM or eSIM), pick a Self Pickup location, pay. Collect it, complete biometric verification, and activate in the app by ICCID scan. The rider home-delivery in older guides was the 2023 launch model.

Request a replacement in the app or website; once verified, collect the new SIM or eSIM at an Onic Pickup Spot. ONIC publishes no replacement fee; support confirms charges at request time. Ending an ONIC SIM: The Termination Rules

ONIC’s disowning equivalent is termination, and it does not start at a franchise counter. Ask ONIC support (live chat or call) to terminate the number. Then visit a designated uPTCL joint shop for biometric verification; staff process it.
